Good Morning America How Are You Song Lyrics?

America, good morning to you! how are you? Tell me, aren’t you familiar with me? I am a native son of yours. I am the train that many in New Orleans refer to as the City of New Orleans. When the day is through, I will have traveled a total of five hundred miles.
- Utilizing the City of New Orleans as a Base Illinois Central Rail on a Monday morning There were fifteen automobiles total, each with an agitated passenger Along the whole southbound Odyssey route, there were three conductors and twenty-five bags of mail.
- The station of Kankakee is where the train will depart.
Passes by homes, farms, and fields as it moves along. Going by trains that don’t have any names Freight yards populated mostly by elderly black guys And the rusting car graveyards that have been abandoned. America, good morning, and how are you doing today? Tell me, aren’t you familiar with me? I am a native son of yours.
I am the train that many in New Orleans refer to as the City of New Orleans. When the day is through, I will have traveled a total of five hundred miles. Playing cards with the grizzled veterans in the club vehicle One penny for each point, and nobody’s keeping track. Give me the bottle together with the paper bag it’s in.
You can hear the rumbling of the wheels beneath the floor, as well as the sons of pullman porters and the offspring of engineers. Steel-made flying carpets that the children ride on courtesy of their father mothers tending to their sleeping infants Are bobbing their heads to the easy rhythm, and the beat of the rails is all that they can feel America, good morning, and how are you doing today? Tell me, aren’t you familiar with me? I am your native son, and I am the locomotive that people refer to as the City of New Orleans.
- When the day is through, I will have traveled a total of five hundred miles.
- The City of New Orleans during the evening hours Changing automobiles in Memphis, Tennessee, United States of America We are around halfway there, and should be there by morning.
- While traveling during the night on the Mississippi Descending toward the ocean, yet all the villages and people around them appear to vanish into a nightmare.
And the steel rail has not yet been informed of the development. The conductor begins singing his tunes once more. The passengers are asked to kindly desist. This train is suffering from the vanishing railroad blues. America, good night to you; how are you doing? Tell me, aren’t you familiar with me? I am your native son, and I am the locomotive that people refer to as the City of New Orleans.
Who sings the theme song on Good Morning America?
The phenomenal performance that Tasha Cobbs Leonard gave on Good Morning America propels both the album and the single to the top spot on iTunes.
Who wrote the song Good Morning America?
Theme for “Good Morning America” from 2017 through 2019 – After only a little bit more than a year, and with the addition of Michael Strahan to the GMA anchor desk, ABC desired to give the show a “larger, bolder” feel in order to replace the more pop-centered theme that had been prevalent in 2015.
- ABC reached out to its contacts at DreamArtists Music, namely composer Matthew Kajcienski, to develop the show’s main theme as well as the theme package.
- The management at ABC came up with a new framework for the opening theme music, which called for it to be divided into five sections rather than its previous structure, which was more conventional.
This was done so that it would reflect the level of intensity of the four primary news articles that were utilized in the main open, which ranged from “breaking news” to “light news,” and then conclude with a bold, victorious crescendo into the show.

— – It’s not simply another music video with a bunch of famous people, some quick cuts, and a catchy tune: The new music video for “Good Things Are Happening” on Good Morning America features an upcoming singer-songwriter as well as some of the most well-known faces in morning television.
E-mail Us! When musician Bill Deasy went to Nashville for the first time since going solo a year ago, he collaborated with songwriter Larry Gottlieb to write the song “Good Things Are Happening.” Simply click on this link in order to hear the song in its instrumental form. For the version with the lyrics, please go here.
It has been selected as the theme music for Good Morning America, and an amusing montage of the show’s hosts, reporters, and guests is featured in the video. A Word on the Performer Gathering Field was Deasy’s band throughout the first seven years of his career as a solo artist.
The band was founded in 1994, and Deasy was one of the founding members. Today, Deasy writes songs for other musicians and makes frequent trips to Nashville for collaborations with other songwriters. Deasy, who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, has had the opportunity to perform as the opening act for artists such as John Mellencamp, Norah Jones, and Bob Dylan.
And there’s a good chance you’ve seen him sing the national anthem at one of the Pittsburgh Pirates or Steelers games if you’ve been to more than a handful of those games. Elvis Presley held a special allure for Deasy when he was a young lad, and his family was a significant influence on his progression as a musician.
Deasy remarked, “My brother was very into Neil Young, James Taylor, and Springsteen, and they have had a lasting influence on the way that I compose songs.” “But Van Morrison is my number one hero of all time. Even though I don’t think I write or sound anything like him, I own every album he’s ever done “Deasy stated.
Deasy enjoys reading for pleasure and looks to books for ideas and guidance. “I treat songwriting almost like a novelist in terms of the discipline of it, and I take what I do seriously from a literary point of view,” Deasy said. “I take what I do seriously from a musical standpoint.” A new album by him, named Good Day No Rain, was only published not too long ago.

Good Morning America, sometimes known simply as GMA, is a popular morning show on American television that is produced by ABC and airs in the United States. It was originally published on November 3, 1975, and on January 3, 1993, it started publishing a Sunday edition, marking its first expansion to weekends.
A decision was made in 1999 to discontinue publication of the Sunday edition; nevertheless, publication of weekend editions on both Saturdays and Sundays was resumed on September 4, 2004. In every time zone across the United States, the morning shows begin at 7:00 a.m. and continue until 9:00 a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays (live in the Eastern Time Zone and on broadcast delay elsewhere across the country).
The Sunday episodes each run for one hour and are live-broadcast to ABC stations across the country at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time, despite the fact that certain stations in various media markets broadcast them at different times. Viewers in the Pacific Time Zone are provided with an updated feed that includes a customized introduction as well as current live reporting.
- During the years 2007 and 2008, ABC News Now was the only platform on which a third hour of the daily show was presented.
- The program includes news, interviews, weather forecasts, special-interest stories, and feature segments such as “Pop News,” which focuses on popular culture and entertainment news as well as viral video; the “GMA Heat Index,” which focuses on a mix of entertainment, lifestyle, and human-interest stories; and “Play of the Day,” which highlights a different game each day (featuring a selected viral video or television program clip).
ABC News is responsible for producing it, and it is broadcasted from the Times Square Studios in the Times Square neighborhood of New York City. The principal anchors are Cecilia vega, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan, who is a former defensive end for the New York Giants and a former co-host on Live.
Additionally, Amy Robach, Lara Spencer, and Ginger Zee contribute as breaking news, entertainment, and weather anchors, respectively. Since the summer of 2012, Good Morning America has been number one in both total viewers and key demos, making it the most viewed morning program overall. From 1995 to 2012, GMA often finished in a close second position in the ratings, behind only Today on NBC.
It surpassed its competitor over a time period spanning from the early to the middle of the 1980s with anchors David Hartman and Joan Lunden, through the late 1980s to the middle of the 1990s with anchors Charles Gibson and Lunden, and in April 2012 with anchors Roberts and Stephanopoulos.
